The Exercise Medicine Research Institute (EMRI) was delighted to recently host both a guest speaker community event and a WA PCFA PCSNs round table education session with the acclaimed Dr Chris Nelson, Chief of Psychiatry at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York.
Both events provided high impact collaborations and discussions for those facing the journey of a cancer diagnosis and for nurses who travelled from regional locations who also had the opportunity to see EMRIs facilities that they regularly refer patients to for exercise interventions.
As a world class research institute, EMRI is proud to ensure the local community is provided with opportunities to utilise our global industry connections and to partake in services offered by the Institute. These include joining exercise research trials and / or tailored individual or group exercise programs at our onsite exercise facility - Vario Health Clinic, where clients receive immediate access to groundbreaking exercise research findings.
